Representatives of BNP and AL have come to the Election Commission to observe the voting of the 11th National Parliamentary Elections.
After voting began, two groups of representatives came to the EC at 8:30am. Around ten thirty in the morning, Chief Election Commissioner KM Nurul Husa went to Uttara to cast his vote.
From Saturday night, law enforcers put up a security barricade around the Election Commission (EC).The respective representatives of both parties will observe voting. AL representative team is led by Akhtaruzzaman. He said, “Representatives will remain on rotation until the results are declared.”
BNP’s team is led by the party’s Joint Secretary General Syed Moazzem Hossain Alal.
Voting began from morning of Sunday (Dec 30) at 299 seats with 1861 candidates competing.
AL with allies are competing in 272 seats with BNP and allies in 282 seats with the highest candidates by Islami Andolan standing at 299 candidates.
