Abir Ahmed, Chairman of Ekattorer Muktijoddha (Freedom Fighters of '71), said that Dr. Kamal Hossain has rejuvenated BNP and Jamaat-e-Islami.
He made the comment on Thursday (Dec 20) at the National Press Club lounge while talking to the media.
“We do not recognise Jatiya Oikya Jote, we feel that Dr. Kamal represents BNP-Jamaat and has revived these two parties.”
The path he has taken is not the road that upholds the values and spirit of liberation; this is not the road to progress, he added.
“Though Dr. Kamal is part of our history, we do not know why he has been derailed and decided to represent an anti-independence force.”
Saying that BNP-Jamaat pact in power will distort history if it comes to power, he commented, “For the overall benefit of the nation and to sustain the current flow of development, I call upon the people to vote for boat.”
