The BNP is in a meeting with the Election Commission (EC) at the headquarters in Agargaon.
A delegation of the party’s policymaking National Standing Committee members Moudud Ahmed, Mirza Abbas, Nazrul Islam Khan, Amir Khasru Chowdhury and BNP Vice Chairman Abdul Awal Mintu is meeting with the EC.
Chief Election Commissioner (EC) KM Nurul Huda is present at the meeting along with the four ECs.
BNP did not take part in the national polls in 2014, but this time has formed coalition with the Dr Kamal Hossain led Jatiya Oikya Front.
The opposition party has been complaining that a level playing field for a fair election is not there at the moment and has consistently accused the EC of siding with the ruling Awami League.
