The Election Commission is meeting with executive magistrates ahead of the upcoming 11th parliamentary polls slated for Dec 30.
The meeting convened at 10am on Saturday (Nov 24) at the EC headquarters at the capital’s Agargaon.
Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) KM Nurul Huda, Election Commissioners Mahbub Talukder, Md Rafiqul Islam, Kabita Khanam and Md Shahadat Hossain Chowdhury are present in the meeting, presided over by the EC Secretary Helaluddin Ahmed.
The EC is briefing executive magistrates of Dhaka and Mymensingh division and Cumilla district on the electoral code of conduct.
Similar briefings are scheduled on Sunday for executive magistrates of other regions.
