Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has inaugurated and laid foundation stones of 196 development projects in four districts of Mymensingh division.
Hasina unveiled the projects at Circuit House ground at 4pm on Friday (Nov 2).

She was set to address a public meeting, organised by the local Awami League, there.

Prior to this, a helicopter, carrying the premier, landed on the district’s around 3:45pm.

Centring the premier's visit, a gleeful environment is prevailing in the area and the local people are eagerly waiting to see her. People of different professions are in a festive mood ahead of the visit of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
Marking visit, all out preparations including security measures have been taken in the city area.
Police Super Md Shah Abid Hossain said tight security measures have been taken marking the visit of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. A large number of plain-clothes police remains deployed along with other law enforcers, he added.
