On Monday, many pro strike activists on the road reportedly stopped vehicles, forcing drivers to do sit ups holding their ears.
On the first day of the strike, on Sunday, the pro strike workers smeared burnt engine oil on other drivers, vehicles and passengers.

General-secretary of the Bangladesh Road Transport Labour Federation, Osman Ali, told Bangla Tribune: “we have told the police to take firm steps against those who are behind such nasty actions.”

“Those who called a strike of goods vehicles earlier are conspiring against us.”
