The results of Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations of this year will be published on May 6, a government official said.
Education ministry’s Additional Secretary Chowdhury Mufad Ahmad to Bangla Tribune that the education minister and the chairmen of the education boards will present a summary of the results to the prime minister before publishing them.
The results are officially published after the minister’s news conference at his offices, where he highlights the key features. Students can check their results after the media briefing.
As many as two million students took part in the school-leaving public exams this year.
The SSC and equivalent theory exams were held between Feb 1 and Feb 25, while the practical exams were held between Feb 26 and Mar 4.
This year, 2,031,889 students took the exams at 3,412 centres across Bangladesh and abroad.
