Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has donated Tk 5 million as financial assistance for the medical treatment of Director General of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Directorate Professor Mahbubur Rahman.
Prof Mahbub’s wife Aleya Ferdousi received a cheque from the prime minister at Ganabhaban on Monday, reports BSS.
Prof Mahbub, who has been suffering from lung diseases for a long time, is currently undergoing treatment at a hospital in Singapore.
