After a long gap, four election commissioners had an informal meeting at the room of the chief election commissioner, KM Nurul Huda. Disagreement over certain issues created a distance between the election commissioners and the CEC.
After a long meeting with the CEC, a directive was issued, confirming that all rules regulations and procedures were being followed at the election commission.
The directive also mentioned that if a document is presented, then it has to mention the level at which it will be resolved.
Earlier, it was accused that certain important work of the commission is only informed to the CEC and the election commission secretary, leaving out the other election commissioners.
Meanwhile, EC officials said, “Meeting with some foreign journalists who have come to Bangladesh to visit the Rohingya camps is not confirmed.”
