However, Friday, June 29, is a rest day for the World Cup before second-round matches kick off.
On this day, a new play called Charlie, by theatre group, Natyadhara is coming on stage.
Written and directed by Litu Sakhawat, the play uses the respite day from football to invite people to enjoy an evening with Charlie.
The play touches issues like economic emancipation, cultural liberty, psychological freedom plus sectarian openness.
The first show was held on 23 February and then, during a performance in Assam, director-actor Litu had a heart attack.
Litu Sakhawat, Dipannita Eti, Nasir Uddin Bhuiyan, Shabyashachi Chanchal, Kamal Hossain and others will act in different roles of the play.But with the director now better, Charlie is set to make a comeback to provide a cerebral thrill.
On Friday, the show of Charlie will be at 7pm at the research theatre hall of Shilpokola Academy.
Litu Sakhawat, Dipannita Eti, Nasir Uddin Bhuiyan, Shabyashachi Chanchal, Kamal Hossain and others will act in different roles of the play.
