‘Thor’ star Chris Hemsworth will star in a Hollywood action thriller, titled ‘Dhaka’. The Netflix movie, with a storyline that unfolds in the Bangladeshi Capital, is produced by Joe and Anthony Russo, the directors of Avengers: Infinity War.
The Russo brothers are set to reunite with their Thor star, Chris Hemsworth, on the film, written by Joe and to be directed by debutant Sam Hargrave, reports Hindustan Times.
The report said, Hargrave has graduated from being Chris Evans’ stunt double in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, to stunt coordinator in Captain America: Civil War, to second unit director on Infinity War.
The new film that he is directing is an action thriller in which Hemsworth’s character will help rescue a kidnapped Indian boy from Dhaka.According to Deadline, the film will be shot in India and Thailand. It’s not known yet, if any sequence will be shot in Dhaka for the Netflix thriller.
The Russos are now preparing for the final round of reshoots for next year’s Avengers 4. The film, often described as a conclusion to this phase in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, is scheduled to rock the theatres in May, 2019.
