Three schoolboys die as train hits motorbike

GopalganjThree schoolboys were killed in Gopalganj after a train rammed the motorbike they were riding on a level-crossing.
The incident was reported from the district's Kashiani Upazila around 2.30pm on Tuesday (Jan 28), said police.
Kashiani police OC Md Azizur Rahman said that the victims were students of the local Joynagar High School.
They have been identified as SSC examinee Yasin Sharif, and tenth-graders Sohan Talukdar and Abu Raihan. All of them were between 17 and 18 years old.
"A Rajbari-bound local train, which left Kashiani's Bhatiapara rail station at 1.40pm, rammed the motorcycle at the Bishwanathpur level-crossing around 2.30pm," said OC Rahman.
Sharif, who was supposed to sit for the school-leaving public exam this year, died on the spot.
Police and locals rushed critically injured Talukdar and Raihan to the state-run hospital in Kashiani Upazila town, where the doctors declared them dead, he added.
