Immigration to India through Sylhet's Tamabil land customs station resumed on Saturday (Dec 14) morning after a day of suspension.
According to Sub-Inspector Ramjan Miah of Tamabil immigration, the Indian Border Security Force (BSF) started allowing travellers from Bangladesh from 12:00 pm on Saturday.
The Indian immigration authorities bar the tourists on the Dawki crossing point along Tamabil border as a curfew is underway in Shillong since on Thursday (Dec 12), said Aminul Islam, additional superintendent of police (media) of Sylhet.
