Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan has called for rehabilitation for drug addicts to bring them back to society.
“The government has eliminated terrorism and militancy, now we will put an end to drug abuse amid ongoing crackdown” he said on Thursday (Nov 14) while he was addressing a Community Policing Conference at the Police Lines in Mymensingh.
Appreciating the expertise of the Mymensingh Community Police, he said, “Community policing will boost ties between law-enforcers and the people.”
“Government aims at a peaceful country, free from terrorism-militancy for the future generation,” he added.
He also expected that the country would turn into a developed nation in no time.
