DRMC student Abrar's body exhumed

File photo of Nayeemul AbrarThe body of Dhaka Residential Model College (DRMC) student Nayeemul Abrar was exhumed on Saturday (Nov 9) from his family graveyard at Dhanyapur village in Noakhali’s Sonaimuri Upazila.
Executive Magistrate Ilishay Risil was present at the scene along with four police personnel including the investigation officer of the case, said Mohammadpur police Inspector Md Abdul Alim.
Sonaimuri Upazila Nirbahi Officer Tina Pal, and Sonaimuri police station OC Abdus Samad supervised the exhumation process at around 2:30pm.
Later the body was sent to the state-run hospital in the district town for autopsy.
On Nov 6, a Dhaka court ordered to exhume the body and report to it on Dec 1.
On Nov 1, Nayeemul Abrar, a grade nine non-residential student of DRMC, was electrocuted by a power generator on the school premises, during a program organized by Kishor Alo, a supplement of Prothom Alo for young readers.
