Four bodies recovered from Shitalakkha

Family members are seen mourning after receiving the bodies.The fire services have found four bodies of the passengers who went missing after falling from the roof of a trawler in the Central Ferry Terminal of river Shitalakkha.
The bodies were recovered from the Nitaiganj area of the river on Tuesday, said the Inspector of Narayanganj Marine Police Newaz Uddin.
The victims were identified as Din Islam, 35, Imon, 18, Jonny and Osman Gani.
Two bodies were handed over to the respective families and other two families are informed accordingly to receive the bodies, said Deputy Assistant Director of Narayanganj Fire Service Mamunur Rashid.

Police and Fire Services sources said that several passengers fell into the river after an overcrowded Madanganj-bound trawler was tilted in the Central Ferry Terminal on Sunday.
