A woman has died of mosquito-borne disease dengue in Satkhira’s Sadar Upazila early on Saturday (Aug 24).
Thirty-seven-year-old Shahanara Khatun died while being taken to Khulna Medical College Hospital from Satkhira Sadar Hospital.
“Shahanara was admitted to Sadar Hospital after being diagnosed with dengue on Aug 18,” said Satkhira Sadar Hospital Medicine Specialist Dr Asaduzzaman.
He added that the doctors referred her to Khulna Medical College Hospital after her condition deteriorated and she died on the way to the hospital.
