Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) and India’s Border Security Force (BSF) have exchanged greetings and sweets on the holy occasion of Eid-ul-Azha.

BGB Hili ICP camp Commander Subedar Altaf Hossain and Atapara camp Commander Subedar Chan Mia greetedHili BSF camp Commander DS Sondhu and Jagdish Proshad.

They represented their respective forces and countries at the exchange, which took place at the border on Monday (Aug 12).

A number of other officers were also present at the event.

Subedar Altaf Hossain said, “We exchange sweets and greetings with BSF members on the occasion of Eid. We hope that a good relationship will be maintained between the two forces and both sides will be able to work together at the border.

“We exchange sweets and greetings during national and religious celebrations.”

Eid-ul-Azha is being celebrated across Bangladesh in a festive manner.
