Three people have been killed and another 15 injured in a road accident in Noakhali.
The incident was reported around 9.45am on Wednesday (May 8) from Chomir Munshi Rastar Matha area in the district’s Chatkhil upazila, said police.
Two among the deceased have been identified as 40-year-old Zafar Ahmed and 35-year-old Nurul Alam. 

“A Laxmipur-bound Janani Service bus plunged into a roadside ditch when the driver lost control of the steering, leaving three people dead on spot, and many injured,” said Chatkhil police OC Anwarul Islam.
“The injured were taken to different local hospitals for treatment,” added Islam.
