At least 10 others have been injured in crash reported on the Daulatdia-Kushtia Highway at the district’s Ahladipur area, said officials.
Rajbari Fire Service’s Abdul Halim, who led the rescue operation, told Bangla Tribune that a bus of Satkhira-based ‘Green Bangla Paribahan’ collided head on with a truck leaving three passengers of the bus killed on the spot.
At least 10 people have been taken to state-run hospital in Rajbari town from the scene, he added.
Two of the dead victims have been identified as 32-year-old Asma Khatun Doly and 50-year-old Rawshon Ali.
Rajbari hospital’s resident doctor Deepak Kumar said that at least 10 people were brought to the hospital and of them, Doly succumbed to her injuries while being treated.
