A Bangladeshi businessman has been gunned down by suspected robbers in South Africa.
Rezaul Karim, who hails from Haripur village of Feni’s Chhagalnaiya Upazila, was shot dead at his shop in Regents Park Estate, a suburb of Johannesburg, on Sunday (Apr 23).
Rezaul’s friend Nurul Alam, from South Africa said that Rezaul and his brother-in-law Abul Hossain, who migrated to Johannesburg a year ago, ran a shop.
Around 4pm local time, a group of men barge into the shop in an attempted robbery when Rezaul was shot.
