A head-on collision between a bus and a three-wheeler in Gopalganj has left at least 11 people, including women and children, killed.
The road crash on the Dhaka-Khulna Highway on Thursday has left another 15 people injured, said the police and fire service.
The incident was reported around 5pm from Haridaspur area near the district town, said Inspector Golam Faruq of Gopalganj police.
The dead victims, who are yet to be identified, include a woman and two minors, he said.
Fire Service Inspector Md Rubel Sheikh said both of the vehicles involved in the crash veered off into road side ditch.
“Eleven people died on the spot while 15 others have been injured,” he said.
