A senior leader of ruling Awami League (AL) has reiterated that the upcoming national election will be held under the incumbent government led by of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
“No experiment with the next general polls would be at all … the polls will be held timely as per the Constitution and Sheikh Hasina (government) will remain in power during the 11th Parliamentary election,” AL Presidium member Mohammed Nasim said on Sunday (Oct 28).
Nasim, who is the coordinator of 14-party Alliance led by AL, made the remarks while inaugurating the district’s newly constructed 250-bed hospital building.
Nasim, also the health minister, said, “The government has been working relentlessly to reach the healthcare facilities at the doorsteps of the common people.
Now, people of the area will get more facilities from the hospital,” he added.
