A 28-year-old was hacked to death in Jashore on Friday, police says.
The victim has been identified as Sohag Hossain.
Kotwali Police SI Hasanuzzaman said that they are looking into the incident and the cause of death was not immediately clear.
Brother of the victim Samraz Hossain said we were told that blood-stained body of my brother was seen on the road between Amtala and Kazipara area.
We took him to Jashore Medical Hospital and the doctors told us that he succumbed to injuries before reaching the hospital, he said.
Dr Kajal Mallik said that the victim’s body was hacked and throat slit.
