A 12-year-old schoolboy was killed after a microbus rammed him at Muksedpur Upazila in Gopalganj.
The incident took place on Dasherhat area on Dhaka-Khulna highway of Muksedpur part on Tuesday, said the OC of Muksedpur Police Station Mostafa Kamal Pasha.
The victim was identified as Kinjkor Roy, a grade three student of the BK Government Primary School of the Upazila.
The boy died on spot when a Dhaka-bound microbus ploughed him while crossing the road near his home, the OC said.
Effort is underway to find the vehicle, he added.
