FACEBOOKRevenue earnings of the Inland Container Depot (ICD) Kamalapur have marked a 33.26 percent rise in the first six months of 2019-20 fiscal compared to the same period of the preceding fiscal 2018-19.
Revenue collection at ICD Kamalapur soared to Tk 15.16 billion during the first six-month of 2019-20 fiscal which was Tk 11.37 billion during the same period of the preceding fiscal, reports BSS.
The six-month revenue figure is also 15 percent higher than the strategic target of Tk 13.22 billion.
Talking to BSS, Commissioner of the ICD custom House Md Anwar Hossain said ICD’s duty-tax revenue has been increased this time due to increase of the import of raw material of industrial parts, especially motorcycles.
For increasing the standard of ICD’s services, he said, businessmen are coming to use the custom house. So, revenue collection is being increased, he added.
