Finance Minister AMA Muhith Friday has said for the time being, they don’t have any plan to set up ‘banking commission’.
He was speaking at a post-budget press conference to describe the different aspect of budget for 2018-19 fiscal rolled out at the parliament Thursday.
“I wanted to set up banking commission but it could not possible this time. I have completed all the necessary preparation and paperwork for the next government. I will leave it for the next government,” he said.
The coverage of banking sector has widened but the banking service is very poor, he added.
