Exports rise 15% in Jul-Sept Bangladesh has posted growth in exports, pushing the earnings in July-September period by 14.75 percent higher year-on-year.
The export earnings of over $9.94 billion in the first three months of 2018-19 fiscal have also crossed the target, according to data released by the Export Promotion Bureau on Monday (Oct).

The government had set $9.33 billion target in July-September.
Apparel sector has accounted highest 82.4 percent of the total exports earnings, contributing $8.19 billion to the economy.
Earnings from apparel sector were at $7.14 billion during the same period of the last year.
Figures by EPB show earnings from specialized textile and medicine exports marked 55 percent and 25 percent growth respectively.
Export of frozen fishes dropped by 18.17 percent while lather and lather-made products by 17.46 percent and jute and jute-produced goods by 8.15 percent.
In September, the country earned around $3.14 billion, which is 54.64 percent more than the same month last year and 6.28 percent more than the target.
In the first month of current fiscal (July), export grew by 20 percent year-on-year, which dropped by 12 percent in the next month (August).
The government targets to export goods worth $39 billion in 2018-19 fiscal year.
