Gas supply will remained suspended in the Parliament and adjoining areas due to relocation of gas pipelines to facilitate construction of metro rail project on Friday (Oct 5).

According to a press release of the Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company Ltd, the gas supply will remain cut off from 9am to 8pm to the east and west sides of Mirpur-12 to Chiriakhana (zoo) Road.

The affected localities are Tejturi Bazar, Nakhalpara, Monipuripara, Firmgate, Indira Road, Parliament area, Rajabazar, Panthapath, Kalabagan, Bijoy Sarani area,  Tallabag and Shukrabad Residential Area.

No gas will be supplied to household, commercial, industrial and CNG refueling stations connections during this period.
