Finance Minister AMA Muhith says Bangladesh needs to attract more foreign investors. He added that Bangladesh needed to increase the number of workplaces to draw the attention of investors.
“It will not be tough as we have plenty of resources,” he told a workshop in Dhaka on Friday (March 23).
The minister said the government had taken various steps to tackle the climate change but needed to do more. The country was doing well in the social index.
He said the UN and other development partners had praised Bangladesh’s political leadership for the country’s graduation to developing nation.
Muhith said Bangladesh’s strong foundation made the achievements possible, and urged the development partners to continue their assistance.
