Chinese mobile giant Xiaomi has announced it official entry to the Bangladesh market with unveiling its Redmi S2 smaprtphone in the local markets.
The announcement was made at a city hotel on Tuesday (Jul 17), says a press release.
Xiaomi also officially launched its online forum ‘Mi Community’ for local users to help them connect to the world and share their stories.
Xiaomi Vice President and Xiaomi India Managing Director Manu Jain, said: "Over the last few years, the Bangladesh smartphone market has witnessed tremendous growth, double digits at times and we look forward to extending our share to the local industry.”.
“We hope that with the official entry into this market, we will be able to bring all latest products to Bangladesh at an honest pricing for all our Mi Fans. We promise to deliver on an accentuated service experience and look forward to building a robust local team here,” he said.
