The country is celebrating one of the biggest Muslim festivals, Eid-ul-Azha, on Monday (Aug 12).
Players of the Bangladesh National Cricket Team have also taken part in celebrating the day.
They took to social media platform Facebook to wish the nation on the day and shared pictures of themselves with family members celebrating the day.

One of the world’s highest-ranking all-rounders, Shakib Al Hasan, who is in Saudi Arabia at present, greeted the nation through a post on his verified Facebook page. 

Mushfiqur Rahim posted a picture of himself with his wife and post on the day. He wrote, “Wishing everyone a happy Eid-ul-Adha. Eid is all about happiness, peace and sharing joy with one another. On this day, I pray that the Almighty Allah accepts all our prayers and sacrifice and guide us all in the right path In Sha Allah. On behalf of my family, I would like to wish all of you Eid Mubarak!” 

 Sabbir Rahman uploaded pictures with his mother and greeted everyone. His post said,” May this special day bring peace, happiness and prosperity to everyone. Eid Mubarak!”  

 Pacer Taskin Ahmed posted a disarming picture with his son saying, “Eid Mubarak to everyone”.

 Spinner Mehedi Hasan Miraz and Rubel Hossain also posted on Facebook wishing everyone.
