Afif Hossain Dhrubo will be joining St Kitts and Nevis Patriots in the prestigious Caribbean cricket carnival.



Afif Hossain Dhrubo, the 17-year old shocked everyone on his debut in Bangladesh Premier League (IPL) with a 5-wicket haul which included the wicket of West Indies star Chris Gayle. The off-spinner, in general, is considered to be more of a top order batsman than a bowler, put everyone to surprise by his performance with the ball.
A record number of players from Bangladesh has been enlisted their names for this years' players’ draft of the looming Caribbean Premier League (CPL).
Bangladedh iconic all-rounder Shakib Sl Hasan, hard-hitter opening batsman Tamim Iqbal, Mahmudullah Riyad and Mehidy Hasan Miraj among the lot have playing experience in the CPL.
It is learnt from CPL website that this year a record number of 536 players from 20 different countries across the globe has been sent their names for the CPL auction.
The seventh edition of the sixth-team T20 tournament will begin on September 4 and ends on October 12.
