A pair of fifties by Mushfiqur Rahim and Yasir Ali has lifted Chittagong Vikings to post a big   total against Khulna Titans in the 22nd match of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) in Sylhet on Saturday (Jan 19).

Sending to bat first after losing the toss, the Chittagong franchise scored 214 for four at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium.

Vikings’ Mohammed Shahzad built a solid ground before Mushfiqur and Yasir destroyed the Titans’ blowing attacks.

Shahzad scored 33 of 17 balls with three fours and sixes apiece.

Yasir added 54 off 36 balls hitting five fours and three sixes while Mushfiqur contributed 52 off 33 balls with eight fours and a six.

Late blitz by Dasun Shanaka and Najibullah Zardan lift the Vikings to post a big total.

Dasun scored 42 not out off 17 balls with three fours and four sixes while Najibullah added 16 unbeaten off 5 balls with two fours and a six.

For Titans, David Wiese took two wickets while Shariful Islam and Tajul Islam bagged one each.
