Former military dictator and Jatiya Party chief HM Ershad’s condition is unchanged, said his younger brother GM Quader.
“His health isn’t improving as expected,” he told the media on Saturday (Jul 13).
“According to the doctors’ assessment, Ershad is not yet out of danger,” said Quader, who serves as the party’s acting chief.
He added that although there is no infection in his blood, his other organs are not functioning as expected.
The 89-year-old leader opposition was admitted to the CMH on Jun 26 and his condition hasn’t gotten better since then.
