Demanding release of incarcerated BNP chief Khaleda Zia, the party had taken out a procession, led by its Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, on Friday (Mar 22).
At the end of the procession, which circulated around Scout market and Fakirapool before concluding in front of the BNP’s Naya Paltan headquarters, Rizvi said, “The anarchy in the country cannot go on.”
He also alleged that the government is intentionally depriving Khaleda Zia of proper medical treatment.
BNP’s executive committee member Nipun Roy Chowdhury, Motsojibi Dal member Abdul Rahim, Nilphamari district unit BNP Convenor Alamgir Sarkar were present among others.
