The BNP is suffering from an image crisis home and abroad due to their affiliation with graft and terrorism, commented Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader.
His remarks came on Thursday (Feb 7) at the AL president’s Dhanmondi office while inspecting the nomination form sale for the post of vice chairmen in the upazila polls.
Drawing attention to BNP not attending the Oikya Front meeting, Quader said, “BNP cannot brave taking any risks during a crisis in politics.”
He added that they can never take the party forward and “their future wasn’t too bright.”
The road, transport and bridges minister reiterated that the people will no longer respond to BNP’s call for movement.
Quader added that BNP’s politics at the moment was in a precarious state and they should get started on fixing their image.
