Thousands of students took to the streets across Dhaka city on Tuesday (Jul 31) protesting the killing of two teenagers who died in a tragic road accident in the city.
They demanded safe road and punishment of the driver of the bus who killed Diya Khanam Mim and Abdul Karim Rajib as the bus rammed through some students in front of Kurmitola General Hospital on Airport Road in the capital on Sunday.

Thousands of students poured onto the road blocking the Science Laboratory intersection.

Three female students hold placards expressing their solidarity to the protest.

Students were seen chanting slogans.

Protesters broke the back window of a pajero.


Police in action to disperse the agitating students.

Students took position on the roads in front of the City College in Dhanmodi.

Students, however, were seen allowing an ambulance during the protest.
