A day after the Road Transport Act 2018 came into effect, mobile courts have filed as many 88 cases and fined Tk 121,000 for violating traffic rules in Dhaka on Monday (Nov 18).

The Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA) operated as many as six mobile courts in the capital's Manik Mia Avenue, Uttara, Pallabi, Rayerbagh, Banani, and Jatrabari.
