A court in Dhaka has fixed Nov 18 for the submission of the probe report in a case filed over the raid at Mohammadpur’s Bosila militant hideout where two militants were killed on Apr 29.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Court Ziaur Rahman gave the order after the investigators failed to submit the report on Thursday (Oct 17).
Rapid Action Battalion had cordoned off a tin-shed house at Bosila’s Metro Housing in the early hours of April 29, on suspicions of it being used as a militant hideout.
Three gun-shots went off when the bomb disposal unit broke into the house after evacuating people of the nearby buildings to a safe spot.
At the end of the raid, the elite security forces recovered the bodies of two militants from the hideout.
