Biman plane makes emergency landing after bird strike

A general view of a Biman Bangladesh Airlines’ aircraft.The Biman Bangladesh Airlines’ 737-800 craft ‘Mayurpankhi’ had to make an emergency landing after hitting a bird. But no one was hurt in the incident which happened on Monday (Oct 14).
It’s known that the plane (BG 084) left Dhaka for Singapore at 8.25am but came back after a while due to ‘bird hit’.
Deputy Managing Director of Biman (public relations) Tahera Khondokar has said: “The craft was sent for tests after the bird hit incident; the passengers were sent to Singapore on another flight.”
The flight had 145 economy and 11 business class passengers with seven cock pit and cabin crew.
Earlier, on Sept 19, faced with landing gear complications, the same craft, heading towards Singapore, made an emergency landing.
