A man has allegedly killed himself after killing his wife and son at their home in Dhaka.
Police recovered the three bodies on Thursday (Oct 10) from Mirpur Section-13, confirmed Kafrul police OC Md Selimuzzaman Khan.
The deceased have been identified as 47-year-old Bayezid, his wife 40-year-old Anjana and their 10th grader son.
Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Mirpur Zone Deputy Commissioner Mostak Ahmed said primary investigation revealed that Bayezid poisoned his wife and son and hanged himself from the ceiling fan.
“We found a few notes at the scene but we are investigating why it happened,” he said and added that details will be given after investigation.
