A person has died in a wall collapse triggered by an air conditioner compressor at a bank exploded at Shonir Akhra in Dhaka.
Three others were injured in the incident at the three-storey RS Tower around 9:30 am on Monday (Jun 10), said Jamal Uddin Mir, officer-in-charge of Kadamtali Police Station.
The dead has been identified as 55-year-old Farid Ahmed, a prayer cap seller and a resident of Kadamtali’s Rasulpur.
The police roped off the area where the incident occurred.
