Mohammad Athif—a physician and politician in Maldives—shared a report published in a Maldivian newspaper on PBI's findings in the case on the social media.
"There is nothing new in this report. In fact, PBI did not conduct any such investigation. They kept the case pending for one year,” his Facebook post reads.
He commented that when the Maldives government asked for the case investigation details, "PBI all of a sudden prepared a 'fantasy' report and made it look like a love drama."
Athif also wrote that Raudha’s was found dead on her bed and nobody saw the body hanging.
He claimed that PBI only mentioned about the last few incoming calls on Raudha’s phone adding her last message and conversations with her friends later that night had no mention of suicide.
Athif further added: "When they talk about Raudhas last few phone calls, they did not include the heated argument exchanged between her classmate and close friend Seerath Parveen—the one who tried to poison her.
"Raudhas mother and all our family members saw this text exchange in Seerath Parveens phone and after several requests, the investigation officer even confiscated the phone," wrote Athif, adding that police did not mention this in the CID or PBI report.

PBI officials could not explain the strangulation marks on her neck and her second autopsy did not mention anything about her suicide, claimed the victim's father.
When contacted, Sub Inspector Saidur Rahman, case investigating officer of PBI, denounced remarks made by Raudha's father.
“Our investigation was carried out by senior officials by questioning witnesses, analyzing all evidence and through medical and digital forensic methods,” he told the Daily Star.
SI Saidur Rahman submitted the final report to the Rajshahi Chief Metropolitan Magistrate's Court on Wednesday afternoon.
Speaking to a Dhaka-based English daily on Thursday, Saidur said that PBI had found evidence that proved Raudha’s death a suicide following the “devastating breakup” upon discovering that her boyfriend had been cheating on her.
On the night prior to her death, Raudha had accessed her boyfriend Shahi Gani’s Facebook profile and discovered he was cheating on her, said the PBI official.
Ghani, also a Maldivian, is currently studying molecular biology and pathology of viruses at London Imperial College in the UK, said the report.
On Mar 29, 2017, Raudha was found hanging from the ceiling fan by her scarf at her college dormitory room, according to witnesses and police.
