Martyred intellectual Selina Parveen’s son found dead

Suman ZahidMartyred intellectual Selina Parveen’s son Shumon Zahid’s has been found dead in the capital’s Khilgaon area.
The body of Zahid, who was a witness in the 1971 war crimes trial, was found on the rail tracks near the Bagicha Mosque in Kilghaon on Thursday morning.
Witnesses said the body has been kept at the Railway Hospital’s morgue.
A journalist and poet, Selina Parveen is one of the intellectuals killed by the Al-Badr on Dec 14, 1971, immediately before the victory after the 9-month-long war of independence of Bangladesh.
