Submit case documents of octogenarian harassed for 18 years: HC

The court has also issued a rule asking why the delay in the resolution of the case should not be called illegal.
The ruling was delivered by the bench of justices Jahangir Hossain and Md Riaz Uddin Khan on Tuesday (Apr 30).
The protracted case involving Rabeya Khatun was published in a national daily on Apr 25.
“I have been coming to court for 18 years; the case never ends and I am tired of appearing. The court neither absolves me nor gives me punishment,” she laments.
The case was lodged in 2002 after which Rabeya was arrested and later released on bail.
According to the police, Rabeya has a foreign gun and six rounds of ammunition in her possession during the time of her arrest.
