Road crashes kill six in three districts

In Dinajpur, three people including a minor girl were killed and two others injured when a bus hit a battery-run auto-rickshaw in Cuniapara area of the district’s Sadar Upazila.
The deceased have been identified as Ashraful Alam, son of Afsar Ali from Jamalpur village of Natore’s Bagatipara Upazila, his daughter Ivy, 10, and auto-rickshaw driver Sazdar Ali, 48, police said.
In Panchagarh, a man was killed after a BTRC bus ran over a motorcycle on Dhaka-Panchagarh highway in Bypass area of the district’s Boda Upazila.
The deceased have been identified as Abu Sayed, an assistant chief-in-charge of Kazi Farms Feed Mill, from Udarkhali village of Gaibandha’s Fulchari Upazila, acceding to Boda police.
In Brahmanbaria, A jeep ran over a motorcycle on Dhaka-Sylhet highway in Beratala area of the district’s Sarail Upazlia, killing the two bikers on the spot.
The deceased have been identified as Nahid Mia, 17, and Parvez Mia, 18. They hailed from Kazipara area of the district’s town, police said.
Police seized the killer vehicle.
Besides, a woman killed herself after strangling her minor daughter to death over family feud in Sirajganj’s Belkuchi Upazila.
The deceased were Rozia Khatun, 36, wife of Abdul Kader Master from Khidramatia Paschimpara village of the upazila and the couple’s 8-year-old daughter Kaniz Fatema, police said
