Thousands of people flock to Chawkbazar to buy their favourite iftar items on the first day of Ramadan. Barobaper Polay Khay, kebab, Shahi jilapi, fried chicken, plain parathas, taler roshbori, doi bora, kima and ponir samucha, different types of paratha, beef and chicken stick and chicken burger and chicken toast and many more items are sold in over 100 makeshift shops and stalls.
