Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has rescued a kidnapped man on Saturday (Jan 19).

35-year-old Selim Sikdar was rescued Jatrabari’s Courasta area in Dhaka around 2.15am, said RAB-10 Operation Officer Senior Ashrafi Tanjina.

“Following a complaint filed on Jan 18, we conducted raids and a team of RAB-10 rescued Selim,” she added.

“Sensing the presence of the law enforcing men, the kidnappers managed to escape leaving Selim,” said the elite force official before adding, “We are hunting down the perpetrators.”
