Lawyer Amit Das Gupta has lodged the writ. A hearing on the writ by a joint bench of justices F R M Nazmul Ahasan and KM Kamrul Kader may take place Sunday.
The writ also seeks for a court ruling.
Previously, a report on the misappropriation of funds for freedom fighters was published in a daily paper.
Ministry of liberation war, says, “This money was released from the ministry but freedom fighters say that they have not received the money as yet.”
Reportedly, the discrepancy began from the office of the Barishal district administrator, though the administration says that in the 2014-15 fiscal, the honorarium of freedom fighters was not paid.
